Bike Amsterdam ranks high at the Focus E-Bike Design & Innovation Awards!

We are proud to share that the BZEN Amsterdam was top-ranked at the prestigious Focus E-Bike Design & Innovation Awards in the Urban category. Even more remarkable: it was the only women’s e-bike among the top finalists. With strong support from the cycling community, the Amsterdam impressed with its unique mix of style, lightness, and comfort.

For the 2020 season, the Amsterdam was updated to become even lighter and more comfortable. The newly refined frame geometry improves balance and handling while adding an extra portion of timeless style.

The Amsterdam is our flagship model, designed to reflect the city it is named after – elegant, practical, and built for everyday rides. With a weight of just 16 kg, it is nearly half as light as conventional e-bikes, making it easier to carry upstairs, manoeuvre through traffic, or park in the city.

Key features include:

  • Low step-in aluminium frame for easy mounting and dismounting, even in elegant clothes
  • Upright riding position with wide grips and a curved handlebar for better comfort and visibility
  • Continental 28” tyres with puncture protection, perfect for urban roads
  • Gates Carbon Drive system for quiet, grease-free riding
  • Integrated battery (7 Ah / 10 Ah) providing up to 110 km range
  • Stylish details such as eco-leather retro saddle, SKS mudguards, and a rear carrier with integrated light

The Amsterdam is not just a top-ranked e-bike. It’s the embodiment of BZEN’s philosophy: lightweight, stylish, and designed especially with women’s comfort and needs in mind.
